Where it all began
In March 2020, the company founder Rafiq started thinking about creating an online store that would bring together many grocery stores in a specific geographical area under the name Oregano, and then faced many difficulties at the beginning, as the goods added to the store were not fixed in price and he faced great difficulty in controlling the matter and dealing with it on an electronic platform and faced many other problems, the most important of which was the discontent of some participants in his idea as he was about to give up.
In April 2021
After thinking for more than a year, the company founder Rafiq consulted an Egyptian company to find some solutions to these problems, but the amendments it proposed were not enough to give hope to the company founder to start launching his idea, as the idea of the store at the beginning was that the founder Rafiq wanted to include more than one sector at once, including groceries, restaurants, fruit and vegetable markets, meat markets, and others.
This made the subject very difficult in terms of performance for the user or customer experience, so he had to work on facilitating performance for the user to succeed.
In October 2021, the founder Rafiq surrendered to reality, but he did not give up on finding a solution to create the idea in another way, as he knew that his basic idea could not be implemented successfully due to the difficulty of performance for users, which would make customers reject the idea completely before it started.
In February 2022, the founder went to Egypt to search for more solutions by seeing some other ideas from applications similar to his idea so that he could delve deeper into what he wanted to achieve, and he communicated with several developers and met them after seeing many new ideas that gave him a very big incentive to stick more to his idea.
He saw that the difficulty of the matter was that the store contains many sectors, and this is what made the founder abandon a number of departments and single out only one sector, which is meals, as the founder Rafiq decided to make it easier for the user instead of abandoning his idea completely.
In August 2022, the creation of the Adam application began by the Egyptian company Trim by a group of professional programmers and developers under the supervision of Engineer Peter Matthias, who played an important role with the founder Rafiq. The founder Rafiq worked to transform the idea into reality, so that Orderi was created after several months of research and studies on the original idea, Oregano. The name was changed, as the matter was initially for several sectors, but Orderi is specialized in only one sector. This is the time when the journey from the idea to the fastest growing startup in the region began, and it is still progressing to this day.
